AGV startup Tuskrobots gets cash infusion from moving firm Huolala

Contrary to mainstream producers of unmanned forklift in the market, Tuskrobots integrated AGV and unmanned forklift to create something resembling an autonomous pallet carrier.

Tuskrobots (塔斯克机器人), an automated guided vehicle (AGV) producer in the southern Guangdong Province, recently added Huolala, a truck-hailing and moving service platform, to its shareholder list.

Following the investment, for which the amount remains undisclosed, the company’s reported capital rose from 10.60 million yuan (US$1.47 million) to 11.22 million yuan, up 5.8%.

Public records show that Tuskrobots, founded in May 2021 and headed by Zhang Weizhong, is a manufacturer of unmanned forklift.

Contrary to mainstream producers of unmanned forklift in the market, Tuskrobots integrated AGV and unmanned forklift to create something resembling an autonomous pallet carrier.

The device can handle pallets, bins and racks and move them across factory or warehouse floors without mounting extra carriers.

The new type of AGV has been applied in pharmaceutical, electronics, auto parts, tobacco, chemical, retail, clothing, footwear and e-commerce industries.

It claims to provide companies with efficient and safe moving solutions, so as to foster smart logistics and manufacturing.

Prior to the cash injection by Huolala, Tuskrobots has closed three rounds of financing, roping in investors 01VC, Zhen Fund and Engage Capital.
