Dreametech debuts MOVA 10 cleaning robot with dual spinning pads

Dreametech defines itself as robotic company in a broad sense, spanning a wide array of consumer and industrial-grade products from home cleaning devices to humanoid and legged robots.

Dreametech (追觅科技), a leading electronics and robotic product developer, yesterday unveiled a vacuum cleaning robot named MOVA 10, which will begin sale at 8pm (GMT+8) on August 28.

The standard version of the gadget retails for 2,599 yuan (US$360) and is upgradable to a more expensive edition.

The higher-priced model is capable of automatic water replenishment and discharging, cleaning and heating the mop.

It also comes with a silver-ion pouch to enhance the disinfection efficiency.

Dreametech claims that up to 99.9% of bacteria can be eliminated using its technology.

According to the Suzhou-headquartered unicorn, this robot vacuum has a powerful suction of 5,500Pa. With dual spinning pads, this device is able to scrub the floor and clean edges of a room.

The robot also consists of 3D map and AR map modules, which support panoramic sensing of the environment. This feature allows it to automatically detect and avoid obstacle.

Its supersonic modules beam back signals to help identify carpeted floors. The vacuum would then raise its mop by 7mm to avoid soiling the carpet.

MOVA 10 is also connectible to four smart speakers, enabling remote control through voice commands.

Dreametech defines itself as robotic company in a broad sense, spanning a wide array of consumer and industrial-grade products from home cleaning devices to humanoid and legged robots.

In the home cleaning segment, it faces formidable competition such as Ecovacs (科沃斯, 603486.SH), Roborock (石头科技, 688169) and Xiaomi (小米,HK: 01810).
