Keenon partners with VSTECS, Digital China to spur delivery robot adoption

Since its founding, Keenon has been committed to supplying the world with efficient, safe, and reliable products and solutions to help enhance the efficiency of businesses of all sorts, said Li Tong, founder and CEO of Keenon.

Keenon Robotics (擎朗智能), a leading domestic delivery robot developer, recently joined forces with VSTECS (伟仕佳杰), an IT service provider, and Digital China (神州数码), a supplier of digitalization solutions.

This is the latest in a series of moves by the robotic unicorn to increase the penetration and application of commercial robots.

As part of the partnership agreement, VSTECS, which has a service network across China, will help Keenon distribute more of its robotic products nationwide.

Specifically, VSTECS will leverage its sales channel advantages to help drive the adoption of Keenon’s robots in various market segments and application scenarios in key cities where Keenon has a presence.

Currently, Keenon has served a total of 30,000 clients worldwide, spanning use cases including catering, hospitality, office building, healthcare, community senior care, airport and shopping mall.

Its clients include SoftBank, Hyundai, InterContinental, Wyndam Hotels & Resorts, Jinjiang Group and Dossen.

Keenon is one of the earliest high-tech startups to venture into delivery robotics in China. With core technologies in sensors, simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM), obstacle avoidance and hardware-software integration, it has rolled out a suite of delivery robots tailored to the needs of different businesses.

Apart from the tie-up with Vstecs, Keenon also has struck a deal with Digital China, whereby the two sides agree to share resources and complement strengths in a bid to introduce advanced digital solutions into the service industry.

Since its founding, Keenon has been committed to supplying the world with efficient, safe, and reliable products and solutions to help enhance the efficiency of businesses of all sorts, said Li Tong, founder and CEO of Keenon.

In a company statement, he revealed that as the domestic market for commercial robots keeps expanding this year, Keenon will double down on efforts to grow its sales network, to tap into opportunities from more niche segments.

Against this backdrop, its collaboration with Digital China, a well-known digital solution provider, is expected to increase the sales volume of Keenon products and also cement its market position as a top player in delivery robots, Li explained.
