Segway-Ninebot (九号公司), a Chinese manufacturer of short-distance transportation tools and robots, announced that its domestic shipments had exceeded 2 million units as of July 26, reaching an all-time high.
A statement from the company says that shipments rose from 1.5 million to 2 million units in the space of 123 days.
This milestone came after Segway-Ninebot had recorded sales of 1.5 million units from May 2020 to March 2023.
cnrobopedia reported earlier that the company saw sales surging around 300% year on year to 420,000 units nationwide in 2021.
The aggregate shipment of Ninebot scooters in the Chinese market crossed the 1 million mark by August 2022.
Ninebot released C, B, E, F and M series of scooters over the past three years.
To date, its distribution network has covered more than 800 cities and counties nationwide, operating over 3,800 self-run and franchise stores.
The total number of users of Segway-Ninebot scooters and e-bikes has hit 11.8 million and counting, with more than 10 million registered app users.
